What Goes On In Your Mind
I’ve been binging on documentaries lately, and this looks like another good one. I got into the VU around the same time I was getting into R.E.M., so it was kind of like listening to the student and the teacher at the same time. I mean these guys, and Nico + Warhol, were pretty out there, but they put together some good records.
I never really was big on Lou Reed solo, in fact, my dumb ass didn’t even know he was in the VU until a few years later.

This guy Mike Strick seems to be pretty talented at making cool figurines. He’s made the Young Ones, the monsters from Where the Wild Things Are, a Voight Kampff machine, and all kinds of other cool stuff that would look nice on your mantle.

You’ve all heard, but there has to be a shrine here. There was nothing quite like the Stones firing on all cylinders. The Faces tried, but couldn’t entirely replicate it. Some of that mojo came from Charlie. As much a musician as a drummer, I’d pick him over thousands who might be technically better.

I’m sure it’s old news to Makerbot, but I was not aware there was an alternate ending to Army of Darkness. Rather, an original ending that test audiences hated, prompting a rewrite / reshoot.

Can I Just Say …
I’m not particularly excited about this or Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. And I thought Black Widow was a solid C.
