Yes! I would expect this bullshit from Jagger, but Bowie had definitely lost his way chasing the hits.
And the little guttural noise that “Jagger” makes destroys me every time. I’ve watched this five times already.
Finally after 30+ years that video gets the treatment it deserved from the beginning. Don’t remember the last time I laughed this hard.
The 80’s were unkind to many 70’s rock gods, and they became desperate for attention. Unfortunately for them, the ascendant medium was the rock video, so every misstep was painstakingly choreographed and preserved. Nice mullet, Mick.
