1. This screamed New Jersey to me, and “taped in what appeared to be a freshly carpeted Staten Island basement” is certainly close enough and the spiritual equivalent.

   I would occasionally catch public access shows in the early 90’s in NYC, not sure how I missed this gem. YouTube has every full original episode. Presumably holding them until the Museum of the Moving Image or the Smithsonian comes calling.

3. Memphis had some horrendous public access broadcasts in the 80’s, mostly very bad singers.
