  1. Very good.

Also, possibly NOT an Elton John song as the original singing is somewhat intelligible. Has Renfield had a crack at the lyrics?

  2. Here’s the chorus as far as I can tell:

    So goodbye, yellow-brick road
Where the dark clouds of science meeow
You can’t let me in your penthouse
    Going back to my plow
Back to the Alamo out in the woods
    Back in the honey-back town
Oh I’ve finally decided my future lies
    Beyond the yellow-brick ro-oh-oad, etc.

Some issues here, as of course the Alamo isn’t in the woods. It also seems improbable that someone could use a plow in the woods with all those pesky roots, but what do I know?

  3. After writing that I googled the lyrics, which have the 6th line as “hunting the horny-back toad.” In that case EJ would be pronouncing “toad” as “towd” just to make it rhyme, which is a bit of a stretch. And who the hell goes out toad-hunting?
