Foo Fighters & Queens Of The Stone Age & Mannequin Pussy, Oh My

Thanks to the absurdly kind generosity of a friend of ours, Monkeystador and I got to attend the Foo Fighters show in Nashville this past Saturday, which included backstage passes, a tour of all the gear, and a trip to Club Rami (named for the Foo’s keyboard player), a suite stocked with free beer and water.

I’m a casual Foo Fighters fan, but was very pleasantly surprised to learn that QOTSA were on the bill, and then positively THRILLED when they played several songs off my favorite album of theirs, Songs for the Deaf. Some nice YouTuber posted a couple of the highlights, which I now submit for your approval.

The Age Old Debate Continues

I’ve recently gotten hooked on this YouTube channel called SPEEED. As the title suggests, it’s mostly car stuff (the host, James Pumphrey, used to be one of the dudes on DONUT), but this episode seems most relevant to you bastards.

I should probably mention that the car videos are great, too. Pumphrey is obsessed with older, affordable foreign cars, and there are several videos devoted to modding and whatnot. Anyway, enjoy or don’t.
