Late Night With Thom Yorke

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Yo54Xoxq3g

I’m not sure what you bastards think about electronic music, but since Thom Yorke made it, I’ll at least give it a try. I’ve been pretty hooked on his solo album that came out a few months ago, but wasn’t sure how the songs would sound when performed live. Apparently, pretty good. Jimmy Kimmel comes on past my bedtime, so thank goodness for the You Tube which will allow us to witness this late night mini concert. Enjoy. Or don’t.

So what’s your take? Good? Bad? Meh?

Thom Yorke’s Favorite R.E.M. Song

Or so he says …

Did you never call? I waited for your call
These rivers of suggestion are driving me away
The trees will bend, the cities wash away
The city on the river there’s a girl without a dream

I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry

Eastern to Mountain, third party call, the lines are down
The wise man built his words upon the rocks
But I’m not bound to follow suit
The trees will bend, the conversation’s dimmed
Go build yourself another home, this choice isn’t mine

I’m sorry, I’m sorry

Did you never call? I waited for your call
These rivers of suggestion are driving me away
The ocean sang, the conversation’s dimmed
Go build yourself another dream, this choice isn’t mine

I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry

Damn

The Cars were a great live band!

Born Innocent

Absolutely.

Born Innocent will introduce a wider audience to two of the coolest people alive. The McDonald Brothers embody Southern California, rock and roll, and what it means to be an artist. They have influenced independent music in ways that beg to be acknowledged. From helping invent Beach Punk to influencing the Grunge and Glam Metal movements, Redd Kross have maintained the highest level of musical integrity, originality and quality for over forty years.

Dracula And The Shitty Piece Of Cardboard

If Target can put up Halloween costumes and decorations the first week of September, I can talk about Dracula. I never noticed this before …

Extreme Nerdy Horror Trivia! In the classic 1931 Dracula starring Bela Lugosi, why is there a piece of cardboard on a lamp? An error, or was it actually something intentional?

And best YouTube quote …

Why is there so much Dracula in my cardboard movie?

David’s Lab Revisited

Nice little Alien short.

To celebrate the two-year anniversary of the Alien: Covenant DVD release, we wanted to share a little fun we had thanks to a partnership with YouTube Space LA, who helped recreate David’s Lab from the film’s set.

Tom Kenny, Super-Genius

Wow.

Watch as Tom Kenny seamlessly improvises the voices to 5 random cartoon characters that he has never seen before. Using his skills from decades as the voice of SpongeBob, The Ice King (Adventure Time), The Mayor (Powerpuff Girls), Heffer (Rocko’s Modern Life) and many others, Tom is able to create amazing characters in the blink of an eye.
