Interesting, I’d never heard the Yoko song before, or heard anyone mention the connection. I guess that’s because hardly anyone ever listened to her stuff. It’s possible he heard it, filed it away, and unintentionally used it later. But I doubt that, because he had a great musical memory. Most likely, he simply liked the instrumental background but thought it should sound creepier and be sung by someone other than Yoko. Nothing wrong with that, especially since his song is far better.
