  1. At least I didn’t post something by James Taylor, that shameless dispenser of faux-empathetic musical hugs. He’s worse than all of the above (except maybe DM), and maddeningly, all boomer females were susceptible. In the 70’s, all females under 30 owned at least one JT album. You could deduce useful information about a girl from her album collection, but certain albums told you nothing, because they all had them. The others were Tea for the Tillerman (Cat Stevens), Best of Bread, Tapestry (Carole King), and Bridge Over Troubled Water (Simon & Garfunkel). There are probably more, but I’m drawing a blank right now.
