The Sinfonia is sublimely awful.
Are they even in the same key?
They have a few players who hold the tonal center, but the rest are all over the place. The PS brought in a few players who could sort of play well enough to keep a melody moving along, then added a bunch of beginners–one of which was Brian Eno on a clarinet he couldn’t play.
