Tales of True Adventure for Rugged Men Not Unlike Yourself
There’s something vaguely embarrassing about still being in a band at almost 56, like I should be past it now. But maybe not.
At some point old men do start to look ridiculous playing in bands. Y’all aren’t there just yet.
Thanks! Maybe next year.
For me it’s mostly about the vocals. Depending on the singer, of course.
Many who are spectacular in their 20’s and 30’s are so different approaching retirement age that the music kinda suffers.
But old blues singers just get better, and some vocalists take decent care of their pipes. Also the aging audience is losing its high frequency hearing.
We’re only here for the bass.
They look and sound a lot better than anything the fucking Who has done in years.
