These both look excellent. August 16 for Alien: Romulus and July 26 for Deadpool & Wolverine. Word on the street is that D&W is going to get Disney and Marvel back on track. Not even sure I want that, but it looks fun.

It just seems like the D&W couldn’t possibly go wrong, but they could find a way if they wanted.
Yeah, good luck with those. I’m a big fan of shit goes wrong in space films, but I can’t imagine Alien 9 has anything new.
Likewise, X-Men 81 or whatever. Reynolds and Jackman are charisma personified in those roles, but I was Wolverined out by Logan The Wolverine Apocalypse. I let Loki slide after two episodes of the most recent season. Superhero / demigod stuff just doesn’t do it for me. Even though he tried to walk it back, Scorsese was right: it seems like nothing is at risk.
I don’t hate everything. The new season of Thrones has really hit its stride. Some great writing and a stellar cast.
