For me the question is whether AI could ever generate a song worth hearing. I’ve yet to hear one. Pleasing your average dingbat is one thing. Pleasing a Bastard is something else entirely. If that happens, I’ll be impressed. And scared.
Definitely not my jam of a song, but if I’m the Turing Test, it passed.

My sister and I were sitting on her porch and I had some random spotify outlaw country or something playlist playing, and this shit kept popping up. I’d listen to about 10 seconds and skip it (probably as much because it wasn’t something I knew or an artist I at least knew, but mostly because it sounded like shit). I finally looked at their profile and realized it was bullshit. They have so many listeners b/c Spotify just plugs them into playlists. Cocksuckers.
They aren’t plugging in AI by accident. Spotify would love to generate music in house. It’s tough to pay that $0.00000001 per stream.
