  1. Okay, I finally made it through the list, skipping the stuff I didn’t see. Ready? In countdown order, here are my five picks from the 100.

80 Freaks and Geeks, S1 E14, “Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers”
That scene with Bill home alone watching Garry Shandling gets me in the feels every fucking time. Who can’t relate to that? Also, Thomas Wilson gets to play a nice guy for once.

    46 Better Call Saul, S3 E5, “Chicanery”
Chuck loses his shit, and Michael McKean is a genius.

    43 Silicon Valley, S1 E8, “Optimal Tip-To-Tip Efficiency”
The filthiest algorithm ever saves the day! This show is the one thing I miss about HBO.

    10 Breaking Bad, S5 E14, “Ozymandias”
“You want me to beg? You’re the smartest guy I ever met, and you’re too stupid to see – he made up his mind 10 minutes ago.” Ugh.

    08 The Sopranos, S3 E11, “Pine Barrens”
Never fuck with a Russian named Valery. Classic TV.

  2. Do you feel left out of anything?

The list didn’t make me care about Lost, Survivor, The OC, West Wing, or Grey’s Anatomy – none of which I’ve seen.

I may have bailed too early on Mad Men.

The Top 100 is clearly invalid to any sentient being, for containing no episodes of Archer, Fargo, Home Movies, Space Ghost, or Westworld. It seems like an episode of web-based or web-themed content deserves inclusion (The Soup, Tosh.0), and perhaps Comedians in Cars.

When I take my imaginary six month binge-watch TV sabbatical from work, I will be viewing Black Mirror, The Wire, Six Feet Under, Atlanta, Veep, Silicon Valley, and whichever episodes of Curb I’ve missed.

Has anyone seen The Americans? Do I need to be watching this?

I have several friends who were rabid True Blood fans, so I was surprised not to see it here.

The highlight of this article for me was the bit about Errol Morris and Nathan For You.

And where the fuck is Greg The Bunny?!
