I misremembered one of their songs as “oh I think I heard that on The Sopranos” … which led me to van Zandt’s commentary on their potential.
They kinda tiptoed around the addiction part in the documentary.

A friend of mine was working at a pizza place near Ardent when Primal Scream were in town. He said they were super-nice – and super-stinky. Also, the Scottish accent made them damn near impossible to understand.
