This album had a few more good ones. Don’t know what became of these guys. Apparently they made this album, toured, then parted ways. Nothing like touring to turn people against each other.

Gorgeous!
Please tell them to get back together at once.
Wish I could. I did a little googling and found out that they were never really built to last as a band, although their album had respectable sales (100,000+). It was mainly a project of their frontman, Marcus Congleton (who wrote all the songs), a couple of friends, and some hired guns, all of whom soon drifted on to other projects. Most of the album is very good to outstanding.
Oddly enough, the weakest song is the album’s opener, an instrumental. I think the whole album is on YouTube.
Congleton reemerged in 2015 with two albums under the band name Drug Cabin. I haven’t listened to them yet.
Renfield: just want you to know that I still watch this all the time!
Glad you’re enjoying it. Yeah, it’s addictive. Not sure how to link something in a comment, but here’s url for whole album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmVz9siC2SQ
The gift that keeps on giving. Gracias!
Still listening!
Why is the sound so great?
It does seem well-recorded and mixed. Recorded back in ’03 or ’04, so maybe the loudness war wasn’t going full throttle yet.
